YOUR BODY

disability and chronic pain

build a new relationship with you body by learning to ebb and flow with its ups and downs. learn to work with your body rather against it.

queerness and transness

queer and trans people break the wheel, crack the categories, and transcend binaries. we are already doing yoga just by choosing to get curious about our true selves.

about me - teaching from lived experience

Hi! I’m Kat (they/them)

As someone who has lived with chronic pain and a dynamic disability since I was 12 years old, I stopped counting how many times people told me that I should “just try yoga.”

I wrestled with yoga, feeling frustrated with the fluctuations I experienced in my practice. Then I realized that an acceptance of the fluctuations of my body was exactly what yoga was trying to teach me.

My body is not always my best friend ; I practice to be more in my body and navigate the ups and downs of being in a body

I can’t give you the secret magic fix, but I can share what has helped me in my journey, and I hope it can help you too.

I am so excited for us practice together.
